Originally from Madrid, Spain, Hector has ministered prophetically in Singapore,
Malaysia, Indonesia, India, United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Russia, and the United
States. He is currently serving as associate pastor at the Equipping Center, Bryan, Texas. Hector speaks Spanish, French, and Italian. His passion is to empower the Body
of Christ with faith for resources to build the Church and to minister in missional work
and the marketplace.
Hector holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University focusing on
creativity, intelligence, and giftedness. He earned his M.S. degree in Creative Studies
and Change Leadership from the State University of New York, Buffalo. His research
deals with the effects of cognitive fixation on pastoral leadership. He facilitates creative
thinking workshops for the church in crafting a personal and corporate vision, and
designing innovative solutions for challenges faced by the church.
Hector is a lecturer of innovative and creative thinking, educational psychology, and
survey research at Texas A&M University. He has worked with Buffalo State College to
instruct school teachers in Kuwait as part of a Masters in Educational Leadership. In
addition, Hector works as a creative thinking coach with business executives in Mexico
and Singapore.
